What Can I See a Little Further Afield?
Take a short drive to Daytona Beach, a popular destination due to its beautiful sandy beaches and variety of attractions. Enjoy wonders such as Daytona Lagoon, a waterpark near the Daytona 500 Experience, an interactive motorsports attraction and museum.
To the east lies the city of Tampa. Explore Busch Gardens, an African-themed animal park. Here you will also find Florida Aquarium. There are plenty of shows to amuse the little ones, and if you are feeling brave you can swim with the sharks!
Drive a little further to St Petersburg. There are some fantastic beaches here where you can soak up the sunshine. Head to Clearwater Beach and watch the sunset.
