Visit the Jacksonville Landing, a 126,000 square feet shopping and historic museum complex. It features 65 stores as well as dining facilities with full-service restaurants, plus a food court and entertainment. The Landing stages a variety of special events and there is weekly live music on the courtyard stage.

Day Trips From Jacksonville
Rent a car and drive west of Jacksonville to Tallahassee. Popular attractions include the Alfred B. Maclay State Gardens, the Museum of Florida History, and Lake Ella.
Savannah to the north is in the state of Georgia and also worth a trip. The oldest city in Georgia, drive through the Savannah Historic District, visit Summer Waves Water Park or head over to Fort James Jackson. This is a restored 19th Century fort located one mile east of Savannah.
Gainesville lies an hour south west of Jacksonville. It hosts a number of art festivals throughout the year and has a number of museums and art galleries that include the Florida Museum of Natural History and Harn Museum of Art.
