Sightseeing Around London City
Situated just across the river from London City Airport is the Royal Borough of Greenwich. One of the many famous landmarks situated here is the Cutty Sark, which is now the last surviving tea clipper in the world. Step on board and walk along the decks in the footsteps of sailors who sailed the ship over a century ago!
If you would rather keep your feet on dry land why not take a walk in Greenwich Park? At 183 acres it is the largest of the enclosed Royal Parks. It is also home to the Royal Observatory and of course the Prime Meridian which represents Longitude 0º.
For spectacular views of London, take a ride on the Emirates Air-Line cable car. It runs between North Greenwich and the Royal Docks and provides amazing views of the O2 Arena, Canary Wharf and The City.

Canterbury is a relatively short journey from London City Airport when you pick up a hire car. Amble around the oldest cathedral in the country or simply head to the coast where you can wander along the beaches at Herne Bay or Whitstable.
