If you head just outside of Inverness, you can pay a visit to Cawdor Castle too if you have time.
Wander along the river bank and enjoy a round or two of golf at Torvean Golf Course or the nearby Inverness or Fairways Golf Clubs.
If you crave some exercise, take the Ness Island Walk upstream to Ness Islands; you may even spot a seal in the River Ness. Connected by a series of foot bridges, while away an afternoon soaking up the stunning scenery.
