In short, yes! Whatever you’re looking for, Spain is a magnificent holiday destination with wonderful weather, beautiful golden beaches, delicious cuisine, and a diverse selection of things to see and do for all ages and tastes. Because it’s such a large country, the cheapest way to explore is often by rental car.

Keen to hit the coast? Tour Spain’s extensive coastline and visit some of the most famous resorts such as Torrevieja and Benidorm. But don’t forget some of the lesser visited locations. Be sure to explore the historic naval port of Cartagena, Cadiz or even San Sebastian on the north coast. Due to the distances between some of the most popular towns and cities, a hire car really is the perfect way to tour this area. How about a Spanish road trip to get you there?

Hit the Spanish coast with your rental car!

When it comes to local flavour, feast on tapas, get a dose of culture, and unearth some of the country’s most famous tourist attractions. Barcelona and Madrid both have plenty to offer holidaymakers and football fans alike. Explore at your own pace and visit some fantastic sights such as the Nerja Caves and La Sagrada Familia before immersing yourself in Spanish culture with a visit to some of the famous festivals such as the Running of the Bulls at Pamplona in early July.

Check out local tapas bars for beautiful Spanish food!

The Costas

Thanks to its location, one of the most popular locations for hiring a car is Alicante Airport. The Costa Blanca is home to the popular resorts of Benidorm, Torrevieja, Altea, and Dénia. If you’re looking to escape to Andalusia’s Costa del Sol, car hire at Malaga Airport is your best bet and opens up an endless choice of resorts from which to explore the coastline.

If you head to Almeria Airport, you’ll be greeted with beautiful beaches and fantastic national parks such as the Cabo de Gata-Níjar just a stone’s throw away.

Alternatively, rent a car from Murcia Airport to explore the beautiful Costa Calida. Here the “largest swimming pool in the world”, the Mar Menor lagoon, attracts many visitors with its warm, calm waters and plethora of holiday activities.

The Cities

If you’re looking to take in some of Madrid’s famous art galleries and museums before exploring the interior of Spain, we provide car hire at the airport.

Arriving at Barcelona Airport is the perfect way to start a city break or for those who want to explore further afield. Soak up the sunshine along the Costa Brava or on some of the 4 miles of beaches at Barcelona itself.

We also serve Valencia Airport, from which you can uncover the delights of Spain’s third largest city and fantastic coastline.

Hiring a car at Gibraltar Airport is a popular choice for many Brits.
