I had read a lot of bad reviews for Drive on Holidays, but that wasn’t our experience at all. It all went off without a hitch.

Staff at Drive On Holidays were courteous and friendly, and also saved my mobile phone for me when I left it in the car. The collection process is rather lengthy, but they didn't try to sell me any extras, and they were patient is showing me the functions of the car.

Great friendly service as I've come to expect from Drive on Holidays first class. Everything was fine, the car provided was a well used vehicle and a a bit tired but it did the job and was reliable.

The staff at Drive on Holidays were friendly and very polite and spoke good English. At no time did they try to sell me insurance having thoroughly read the Zest voucher and explained everything clearly. The joint inspection of the car was thorough and professional and done in good lighting conditions. The best car hiring experience I have had for years.

Upon on arrival to our destination our flight was delayed and there wasn't any representative from drive on holidays, and it wasn't very easy to find their contact online, in the end it all worked and we got picked up from the airport to collect our rental.

I would like to thank all Zest staff for the help we got on repeated extension of the rental (due to medical condition of one of our party, and the uncertain dates we will need the car). Special thanks to Paul Stewart who did a great job on this.

Zest is still the best UK car rental company for service and value. I have used them for over five years and the service has always been consistent and I have never had any issues with their partners in Portugal. Hopefully, will use them again next year when I go back to Portugal.
