Cultural Celebrations in Oman

• Eid al-Fitr: Celebrated at the end of Ramadan, usually in April or May, Eid al-Fitr is a joyous occasion marking the conclusion of a month of fasting. Families gather for special prayers, share festive meals, and exchange gifts in a spirit of community and gratitude.
• National Day: Celebrated on November 18th, National Day marks the birthday of Sultan Qaboos bin Said and Oman’s independence from Portuguese control in 1650. The day is marked with parades, fireworks, traditional music, and cultural events throughout the country.
