He’s too young to drive, but he can race! Norfolk 16 year-old racing driver takes pole position with Zest Car Rental
We’re really proud to announce for the upcoming JCW Mini Challenge season, we’ll be title sponsors for 16 year old Lewis Galer from Lexham in Norfolk as he takes to track to race off against drivers up to twice his age.
Lewis started racing karts at the age of seven and has had a huge amount of success and rocketed through the ranks and into even faster machines. In 2017, Lewis entered the Ginetta Junior Scholarship and through some inspirational driving, finished 2nd out of a field of nearly 70 other racers. Safe to say we’ve got no doubt in Lewis’ ability and are seriously excited to watch him race in Zest colours this season.
This sponsorship deal comes out of a few things, firstly, being able to support local talent is something we’re always keen to do and Lewis’ talent is abundant. We’re Norfolk based and proud of it. Secondly, we’re a company full to the brim of motorsport fans and being able to see the Zest colours race around some iconic British tracks like Snetterton, Oulton Park and Brands Hatch will be a truly proud moment for us.
