It may seem a little early to start planning a winter holiday, but unfortunately, we are heading towards colder weather. On the other hand, some of you may have recently got back from your summer holiday, and are desperate to book another break! Either way, there are some great deals to be had by booking early. Bulgaria

Bulgaria is an excellent place to head for winter sports enthusiasts. Boasting an excellent selection of resorts to suit all abilities. Bulgaria is also great for skiers on a budget. Slovenia

Estonia

Estonia is slowly emerging as a popular destination for skiers and is relatively cheap when compared to other European resorts. Thanks to its location, snow levels are consistent and generally quite stable; in Estonia so you won’t be short of snow. Whilst the resorts can cater for both beginners and experienced skiers, the terrain is rather more hilly than mountainous. It is often considered more family friendly than a ‘ski-a-holic’ paradise. Favourable resorts include Kaariku and Kuutsemae but there are several others to choose from.

Bear in mind that whilst winter sports are of course a lot of fun but there can be risks involved. Make sure you are fully prepared before you head off on your skiing holiday and take out comprehensive travel insurance.     IT’s great to see these resorts become more popular. Not everyone can hit up the world renowned resorts due to budget, but as long as your riding with friends you could be anywhere to a degree!
