The name of this resort means it sells itself and proves to be one of Bulgaria’s most popular resorts. Back dropped by rolling green hills, the wide strip of sand is a playground for visitors young and old. St Constantine and Elena

Golden Sands closest neighbour, St Constantine and Elena offers a change of pace. You will find a selection of historical buildings such as the 16th century eastern orthodox monastery and the 14th century settlement of Kastritzi. Enjoy history, sport and spa time and choose from a number of luxury hotels and villas.

Riviera

If crowds are more of a foe than friend, Riviera could be the one for you. This peaceful and relaxed resort is found nestling on the seashore and surrounded by lush forests. A resort for indulgence, select one of the luxurious hotels and pamper yourself at one of the many spa centres.

Sozopol

Sozopol is thought to the oldest settlement in the Black Sea region and is therefore rich in historical settlements, ruins, churches and more. It is also known for the fusion cuisine available and the Apollonia Art and Film Festival. If you have an interest in history and are looking to combine some local culture with relaxing days on the beach, Sozopol is definitely worth considering.

Balchik

Balchik is regarded as one’s of the prettiest harbour towns on Bulgaria’s coast line. Although there are of course wonderful beaches here, as a town there is a lot more to be enjoyed than at your average resort. Spend time exploring the towns’ gems such as the botanical gardens, historical palace and pebbled streets.

Albena

Regarded as perhaps one of the best resorts for families, Albena has it all; a large choice of hotels, restaurants, entertainment and sports and of course ample opportunity for beach based fun. Well placed to enjoy some local day excursions, Albena can cater to all tastes.

Pomorie

If you enjoy spa days then Pomorie should be top of your list. This is another of Bulgaria’s oldest towns and is famous for the wellness benefits of the mineral springs. Enjoy a mud bath, go bird watching at the salt lagoon and laze on the beach.

Nessebar

Step back from the gloriously sandy shores of Nessebar, nicknamed the Pearl of the Black Sea, and you will discover an incredibly well preserved historic old town which is classified as UNESCO World Heritage Site. There’s an excellent archaeological museum to visit, not to mention more than 50 churches, making Nessebar another resort for culture and history fans.

Primorsko

Lying at the foot of the Standzha Moubntains, Primorsko boasts wide, sandy beaches and a modern feel. Having enjoyed a fun day lapping up the sun on the beach, enjoy the lively nightlife and choose from over 250 restaurants and cafes.
