About the partnership

Arranging holidays for close to 5,000 people each year, Long Travel pride themselves on delivering unforgettable holidays by tailoring each trip to individual customers. For 30 years, Long Travel have had this focus, finding beautiful hidden escapes in Italy, Croatia, Portugal, Montenegro, Corsica, Greece, Northern Cyprus, Finland and Iceland!

Long Travel always strive to ensure that the customer experience in every part of their holidays is the very best it can be but felt that perhaps their current car hire supplier wasn’t providing the high standards of service expected. Because of this, they decided it was time to source an alternative partner. As car hire is integral to the service Long Travel provide, and “if it goes wrong, [it] can affect the rest of the holiday experience.”. So the search was on to find a new, better solution that offered “great cars, coupled with excellent service”.

After researching the market place and reaching out to Zest, Long Travel soon decided that we were the right partner to choose. According to Long Travel, what really sealed the deal however, was how we’ve created the right product that puts the customer first; “We felt that Zest were also very innovative and were looking at other ways to stand out from competitors such as protecting customer’s excess by negotiating no excess with the rental provider, or bolting-on Excess Insurance (solving one of the biggest cause of complaints from our clients) and finally by providing extra support once customers have booked such as providing the ‘glovebox guide’ and of course the 27/7 emergency support.”
