Following around 500 flight cancellations on Tuesday 24th May, airlines are trying to revert back to their normal schedules.

According to NATS, the National Air Traffic Service, no volcanic ash is predicted to be in UK airspace on Wednesday 25th May.

The Met Office has predicted that ash clouds may return to affect most of the UK on Friday, although forecasts indicate that there will be low levels of ash. The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) and NATS will determine how this will affect flights along with the airlines themselves.

Some flights from the UK to Germany and Denmark have been affected, so we would advise that should you be travelling to these destinations, that you check the status of your flight before you head to the airport. If your car hire booking has been affected as a result of this, please contact us.
